Hails DGP over lodging FIR against Lal Singh’s brother

JAMMU, May 21 (KNO) : Taking strong notice of the abusive language used against Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Janta Dal United (JDU) State President G M Shaheen today condemned Chowdhary Jitender Singh, the brother of BJP leader and former minister Chowdhary Lal Singh is seen using shameful and vulgar language against the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti during the protest in support of Kathua rape accused on Sunday in Jammu.

Taking strong objection to the abusive language against Mehbooba Mufti, Shaheen demanded stern action against Lal Singh’s brother and said that such a language against Mehbooba Mufti was unacceptable and demanded an FIR be lodged against the erring BJP leader’s kin.

He further demanded legal action against Choudhary Lal Singh’s brother for using ‘derogatory language’ against Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. He further hailed the Director General of Police Dr S P Vaid for taken strong cognizance of the act and directed the concerned SSP to lodge an FIR immediately.
